At Aware Recovery Care, we understand that getting away from real life for addiction treatment is not always possible – or comfortable.
Challenges Faced by the LGBTQ+ Community
And as we celebrate Pride Month, we are mindful of the unique challenges this community faces, including addiction and suicidal thoughts at rates 5-6 times the rate of the general population.
Remaining at home, in one’s comfort zone, is sometimes the only option that makes sense.
Our Founding Belief
Aware Recovery Care was founded on the belief that people should not have to put their lives on hold and surrender their privacy to get the support they seek.
Our Three Paths to Recovery
To that end, we have created three paths designed to help people at different stages of recovery.
- Aware Recovery Care’s In-Home Addiction Treatment program provides a long-term solution for those suffering from the chronic disease of substance use disorder — in the comfort, privacy, and security of their own home.
- Clients receive up to one full year of treatment for a cost comparable to a typical 28-day inpatient stay.
- They get to enjoy the comforts of home.
- They have a chance to mend and grow relationships with family and friends.
- Everyone receives regular touchpoints with their care team.
- Participants get to remain active in their communities.
- Aware Recovery Care’s Medication Assisted Treatment program combines prescribed medications with virtual therapy to support lasting recovery in clients dealing with opioid use disorder (OUD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD).
- Nurse Practitioners prescribe tailored medications based on each individual’s needs.
- Psychotherapists provide personalized virtual therapy support for each client to enable long-term recovery.
- The length of the program is based on individual treatment needs.
- Aware Recovery Care’s Virtual Detox program is designed to offer a supportive and secure environment for those seeking virtual detox support.
- Each client receives expert, individualized guidance from a Nurse Practitioner and daily virtual visits with a nurse.
- Participants receive a customized care plan, including prescription medications to manage withdrawal symptoms and comprehensive education for themselves and their support system.
- The average length of the program is 5-7 days.
