Rich Figlewski, C.N.A.D.I

Crisis Prevention Specialist

A Chief Union Steward, Rich was serving as a Union Disabilities Liaison at the start of his personal recovery journey more than 13 years ago. In that role, he advocated for union members with substance abuse and mental health issues. Throughout his work in the addiction and recovery field, Rich founded a not-for-profit sober club and became an internationally known Interventionist. Trained in a number of intervention techniques and having led hundreds of them, Rich carries this experience into his work as a Crisis Prevention Specialist. Rich works closely with client care teams, helping to provide support and direction through complicated cases and scenarios, and focusing on the development of skills and techniques that can be used to detect early indicators of potential crisis. Rich has 5 kids, 2 grandkids, 1 dog, 3 cats, and a parrot. So, as much as he enjoys their company, he likes to get on his motorcycle and ride solo.
