One of America’s most affluent and well-educated states, Connecticut, still lost 1,379 people to a drug overdose in 2020—an almost 20% increase from the prior year. The jump was due mainly to the use of the synthetic opioid fentanyl.
Aware Recovery Care launched in the state with a treatment modality born of research, in concert with addiction specialists from Yale. It's also where we got our first evidence of the potential of a 12-month treatment program administered by addiction specialists in each client's home environment.
Aware has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for both Home Care and Behavioral Health Care. Demonstrating continuous compliance with the Commission's high-performance standards—we are committed to providing safe and effective care.
